PARTICIPANTS:

  1. ASTRID - "Don't you stop the music"

    Astrid Roelants comes from Leuven and saw the liveslight for the first time on the 18th of April 1983. She's studying audio-visual arts at the Rits in Brussels.  Before the age of 14 her singing carreer didn't go further than the shower of the mirror.  Her first real step in the musicworld was made by her performance at Free Stage in Leuven.  She won the contest and her love for music grows.  After that Astrid participated at lots of songcontests as 'The Golden Voice', 'The Soundmixshow' and 'Idol 2003'.
  2. RAFFAELE - "Freakin' destiny"
    (text & music: Raffeale Vertrugno & Fred Bekky)
    Raffaele born on 7 September 1973 in Genk as Raff Vetrugno. He lives in Maasmechelen and works at the travel agency of his parents. His father shared the love for music with his son. In 1995 Raff started his career under his own name. Raffaele has the Italian look and the Italian blood. His mother comes from Belgium but the Italian blood comes from his father who was a very known singer in Limburg during the sixties. Raff has his diploma for MBA communication and public relations. In his free time he does a lot of sport as fitness and snowboarding. He shares his passion for dress and design together with his sister Morena.
  3. THE ACROLLS - "The happy song"

    The Acrolls is formed in 1999 by Marino Van Ysacker (27/05/19723 - Electronic/accoustic guitar and sang), Delphine Berden (25/11/1975 - piano), Dries Uyttenhove (24/01/1976 - basguitar/sang), Patrick Hellin (27/08/1978 - electronic guitar/sang) and Andy Putman (13/07/1979 - drum).  They are known for there guitarpop music.  They have been performing at several selections and in 2003 they have been releasing their first full-cd.
  4. ROXANE - "Television game"
    (text & music: Danny Van Wauwe & Edmond's Jegers)
    Roxane Kalishoek is born on 5th of March 1979 and comes from Antwerpen.  Her first steps in the musicworld was as a member of 'Spirit".  Thanks to Mostiko/CNR she started her solo-career with her own version of "I wanna dance with somebody" by Whitney Houston.  Her typical styl of music is electropop with some influence of blues and soul.
  5. GARRY HAGGER - "I will choose you"
    (text & music: John Terra, Daniel Gijbels & Guy Balbaert)
    Garry Hagger or should I say Gert Vanderhaeghe, because that's his realname has been born on the 29th of April 1963 in Tielrode near Temse.At a very young age Garry was already interested in music.  He became drummer of the locale Chiro-Corps and the Harmony 'Sint-Cecilia'.  The fanfare gave Garry the chance of learning music and he choose for the trumpet.  Garry is 13 years old when he and his orchestra 'Poker' are on stage playing and singing song of The Beatles, Abba, enz.  In 1991 he entered himself in the soundmixshow what brought some reaction, but not enough.  When he re-entered himself in the soundmixshow again, but than as imitator of Rene Froger, a lot of doors were been opened for him.  In his earlier days he was also active as singer-clown for the Papa Chico Team.
  6. MARJOLEIN - "Say love"

    Marjorlein  Cneut, born on 31th of August 1973, comes from Olsene.  She has been singing several years with different coverbands, big bands and Jazz-bands.  During the summer of 2003 she was an female singers in "Het Witte Paard" ("The White Horse") in Blankenberge.  Marjolein also works free-lance as backingvocale for several groups and in studios.  She has been backing vocal at the "Night of the Proms 2002" and at the "Night of the Proms"-tour2003 in France.
  7. SPRING - "Jan zonder vrees"
    (text & music: Danny Verbiest, Hans Bourlon & Gert Verhulst)
    Spring has been formed by Jelle CLeymans (08/08/1985), Damian Colrazolli (11/11/1982), Cara Van Der Auwera (17/09/1981) and Anneleen Liégeois (14/01/1980).  Spring isn't only the name of this band but also a youthsoap where you can watch the four members.
